Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before registering for any event hosted or co-hosted by The Waiver Academy or The Waiver Consulting Group (collectively, "The Waiver Academy," "we," "us," or "our"). By completing your registration, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms.
1. Event Registration
By completing and submitting the event registration form, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Registration is not confirmed until you receive a written confirmation from The Waiver Academy or The Waiver Consulting Group (WCG). We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any registration at our sole discretion.
2. Registration Fees & Payment
Registration fees (where applicable) must be paid in full prior to the event. All fees are listed in USD. The Waiver Academy reserves the right to modify event fees at any time. Any applicable taxes are the sole responsibility of the registrant.
3. Cancellations & Refunds
Cancellations received more than 30 days prior to the event date will receive a full refund, less a $50 administrative processing fee. Cancellations received 15–30 days prior to the event will receive a 50% refund. Cancellations received fewer than 15 days before the event are non-refundable. Substitutions of attendees are permitted at any time at no additional charge, provided written notice is submitted to events@waivergroup.com.
4. Event Modifications & Cancellation by Organizer
The Waiver Academy reserves the right to modify event dates, times, locations, speakers, sessions, or format (including transitioning to a virtual format) at any time without liability. In the unlikely event that The Waiver Academy must cancel an event, registered attendees will be notified promptly and offered a full refund or credit toward a future event. The Waiver Academy is not responsible for any travel, accommodation, or other costs incurred by attendees in connection with a cancelled event.
5. Photography & Recording
By attending a Waiver Academy event, you grant The Waiver Academy and WCG the right to photograph and/or record your likeness, voice, and participation for use in promotional materials, social media, publications, and other communications without compensation. If you do not wish to be photographed or recorded, you must notify event staff in writing prior to the event.
6. Code of Conduct
All attendees are expected to conduct themselves in a professional and respectful manner throughout the event. Harassment, discrimination, or disruptive behavior of any kind will not be tolerated and may result in immediate removal from the event without refund. The Waiver Academy reserves the right to remove any attendee who violates this code.
7. Privacy & Data Use
Information collected during registration will be used to process your attendance and communicate event-related updates. Your contact information may be shared with event sponsors and partners unless you opt out. By registering, you consent to receiving communications from The Waiver Academy regarding this event and future offerings. You may unsubscribe at any time. 8. Liability Disclaimer
The Waiver Academy and WCG are not responsible for any injury, loss, theft, or damage to personal property occurring at or in connection with the event. Attendees participate at their own risk. To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Waiver Academy's liability to any attendee is limited to the amount of the registration fee paid.
9. Intellectual Property
All materials presented at Waiver Academy events — including session slides, handouts, and recorded content — are the intellectual property of The Waiver Academy, WCG, or the respective speakers. Reproduction, distribution, or republication of any event materials without prior written consent is prohibited.
10. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising in connection with these terms shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Delaware.
